Rectel is a non-subscription call recording service that can be used by anyone at any time. Just pick up the phone and dial 0871 900 9000 and you will be given a PIN and asked to enter the phone number you want to call. Rectel then records your conversation ready for you to download on your PC.
When you are ready to download your conversation, access rectel.co.uk and enter your telephone number and PIN. Your conversations can then be downloaded on the click of a mouse. Recorded conversations are available in a choice of WAV, MP3 and OGG formats so you don't need any special software to replay your conversation. It couldn't be easier.
The standard phone number allows calls to the UK, USA, Europe, Australasia and many other countries. Calls to more expensive destinations such as UK mobiles can be made using a premium rate number, but still at great prices. Please click here to find your access number.
It is not illegal in the UK to record a phone conversation for your own use and you don't have to tell the other party that you are recording the call. If you are recording calls for other purposes we advise that you check the relevant laws before using the recording.
